Xiaomi entered the fitness-based devices category with their very famous Mi Band fitness tracker and then its sequel. Now Xiaomi is aiming to expand its presence in the fitness market by the latest addition of a pair of smart of smart shoes.

The Xiaomi Smart Shoes will be officially called the “90-Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear” and is powered by an Intel Curie module.





Unlike the official name of the product, the Smart Shoes from Xiaomi does not only last a mere 90-minutes, but up to 60-days on a full charge. The pair will be sold in China for CNY 300 which converts to approximately $44 or €41.

The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear comes with air cushions, antibacterial arch-shape soles, anti-skid features and also an activity tracker that can track activities like walking, running, climbing etc., and at the end of the day give you a detailed report on the distance that has been traveled, speed and the calories that you burnt.

The Xiaomi Smart Shoes will be available in a variety of color combinations suitable for both men and women, like Black and Surf Blue, Black and Pink that and Special Blue Edition glows in the dark.

You can preorder the 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear from Xiaomi from the Mi Home website starting today, however, the expected shipping of the product is from April 15. No news on the global launch of the Xiaomi Smart Shoes is available as of now.
